KQF is a leading British producer of high quality halal foods, which are produced to the very highest standards and strictly in accordance with halal principles.

KQF strives constantly to produce authentic halal food products that meet the market's changing demands in terms of flavour, shape, variety and appearance. However, whilst our range is constantly evolving and innovation will always be part of our culture, our insistence on quality will never change and nor will our dedication to preserving the absolute integrity of our foods, all of which are fully halal-certified.

KQF was launched in 2001 by a team with almost half a century of collective industry experience. Our goal was to produce high quality halal products for discerning British customers by drawing upon expertise developed in other quality-conscious markets overseas.

KQF's South African Connection
With an established Asian community that is several generations ahead of Britain's own, coupled with a western bias towards convenience foods, South Africa is leading the way in Asian-style processed foods. Recognising this, we saw an opportunity to make the same kinds of tasty and authentic halal foods available in Britain and Europe.

We have always made every possible effort to ensure the authenticity of our food in order to give confidence to retailers and consumers. Consequently, during our first six months of trading, we flew in the necessary expertise from Johannesburg - technicians who were responsible for setting up systems, processes and training for UK-based workers. This investment was necessary for ensuring that everything about our products was authentic and that we embraced quality from the outset.

KQF Today
Since those early days, we have gone on to extend our range and launch new brands, but always according to the same principles of quality, authenticity and integrity. We believe our products are the best in the marketplace and that we have set the standards by which others are now judged.

Tastes change but quality endures. Highly efficient production processes guarantee quality and freshness, whilst constant on site monitoring by independent halal inspectors ensures that every product is certifiably halal.
